Event Video Production – Lunar New Year Celebration 2020

This is our third year documenting the Lunar New Year Celebration for the South-East Asia Center in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood on the city’s northside.

This cross-cultural experience is full of color and ethnic diversity as well as newsworthy appearances and comments from elected officials and other supporters of this organization’s community activism and social service work.

This is an example of one way that a not-for-profit organization can use video production to advance their message and promote their activities.

We will submit this full length (roughly 25-minute) version to Chicago CANTV cable channel 19/21 to extend the message of this organization and allow others to enjoy a taste of the entertainment and messages provided.

We will also produce shorter segments that contain specific messages for use on the SEAC website as well as social media.

In addition to the video production we produced about 100 still shots, some of whihc we used as a slide-show style segment in the video and some of whihc we used on the organization’s facebook page and website.

There is a good deal of content and long-term value that can be derived from capturing business and not-for-profit events that can be used to “extend the experience.”
