Business Networking Event at the Roots Room
As the author of “Business Card to Business” I moderate a monthly general business networking group in Chicago. This month we gathered at the Roots Room which is a local artist development center providing a venue for up and coming musicians. The room is also available for parties and special events. This month we used the stage to give our participants an opportunity to get in front of a microphone and under the lights to present short self introductions. Host Stann Champion provided some background guitar music as guests arrived and co-host Tommy Love gave a helpful tutorial on proper microphone technique for public speakers. Enjoy this short highlights video of our meeting.
This is not offered as an example of my professional video technique as it was shot “on the fly” and the camera was largely unsupervised. But I do offer it as a reminder to take the opportunity to capture your events and extend the experience by sharing your video with people who were unable to attend your event or other interested individuals.
I am of course available to video record, edit, guide you or help in any way.
